whenever i hear a bad news such as earth quake tsunami , flight crash , car accident and so on , i fear it would happen to me next time when i go in plane or car. i always fear about death and imagine lot about the incidents i read or see anywhere. please help.
The boarding attendant came on the loadspeaker and said the fuel tech guy put too much fuel in the plane and is now off loading the fuel not needed. So I asked, if the guy put too much fuel on, how can I be certain he won’t take too much off. She got a very pissed off at me.

what’s the percentage of people that really lose the flight, no-show on the airplane, the same day?
Some of the reasons could be a lost connection, late arrival to the airport, sickness, accident, …
I’ve read that US Airways have a 7-8% of no-show rate. How many of those change opinion and lost the money some days before?
The cascading effect means that a certain “start point” of events rolled over to another event etc. which in and of themselves would not have caused this crash, but together, doomed this flight to disaster. Any ideas out there (especially from CRJ crew) as to what caused this crash. Could it have been the dreaded ” I am the best pilot in the world, even though below V2, I can make it fly” syndrome?
