I am visiting Singapore in a few weeks, and I’ve been advised by two separate people now about visiting places like Bali or Kuala Lumpar whilst being there, because air asia are running very cheap flights – sort of $10 price. While I would be surprised to find a flight that cheap, the ones I have found are running around $200. Does anyone know how one would go about finding cheap flights if this is possible?

The airline only has a certain number of tickets at that price. Therefore once they are sold out, the ticket prices increase. Therefore you have to be flexible with the dates of travel.
Just change the date, try a date that is few months away from now, you should be able to get the cheapest price.
Air asia,tiger airways,jet star asia is the option.KL will be cheaper to visit.
